Sponsoring a child
From the “Ahuachapán, El Salvador Project” the Life Sponsorship Program started in 2022 with the intention of changing these children’s lives by gathering sponsors to commit for either 6 months, 12 months, or more, for the amount of $39 per month. By sponsoring one or more children for $39, you will help them live a better life. With this amount, Eyes Of A Child provides them food, education, medical care, dental care, housing, and extra curricular activites (through music program). As a sponsor, you will get continuous updates about our work and how your money is blessing these children!
About the children
All of the children live in the city of Ahuachapán, located in the Western side El Salvador, 60 miles away from El Salvador’s capital — San Salvador. Home to 130,00 people this community is plagued by disproportionately large amounts of poverty. 95% of the families here live below the international poverty line of $2.50 USD per day. Living in extreme poverty, the people living in Ahuachapán lacks of the basic human needs: clean water, shelter and food.
