Why does this matter to us?

Lucia Montes, Antonio’s ex co-worker, contacted Antonio during the beginning of 2022 catching EOAC’s attention to the situation at her friend’s community at Ahuachapán, located in El Salvador Country, in Central America, as they are living in poor conditions. Ahuachapán is a city with a population of 110,511 people. According to a report by Francisco Gavidia University, poverty in El Salvador has increased on 33.3% in 2021 because of the Covid-19, which means over 2 million people is living in poverty. People there live on less than $5.50 per day per person. We saw this as a big opportunity to share love, support, and expand our organization!
